Chris boasts investor relations and corporate marketing experience, with extensive financial services knowledge gained from over 30 years working with companies including Macquarie Bank; Lendlease (MLC); and Allco Finance Group.
Chris’ financial services industry experience includes superannuation; investments; investment banking; and wealth management and advice. Additionally, Chris has worked with professional services and technology firms.
She has worked with diverse stakeholder groups including shareholders, investors, financial intermediaries and the media. Chris specialises in building and protecting corporate reputations, establishing and maintaining strong stakeholder relations – externally and internally – and crisis management. Chris has helped businesses turbo-charge their growth.
Chris was responsible for investor relations and corporate marketing for all Allco Finance Group’s publicly listed entities (corporate and funds). This included the merger and public listing; capital and debt raisings; the APA bid for Qantas; acquisitions and substantially improving shareholder and investor communications.
At Macquarie, Chris worked extensively with financial intermediaries, developing marketing strategies including growth, retention and cross-sell initiatives for a range of investment offerings as well as communications programs to enhance stakeholder services and relationships.
At Lendlease, Chris built a strong and practical understanding of superannuation. She developed the marketing and client communication programs for MLC’s specialist business superannuation services, which managed assets on behalf of 750,000 members in personal, employer-sponsored and industry funds. Subsequent to this work, Chris was a member of a project team that established a joint venture company, Plum Financial Services, to deliver a contemporary approach to corporate superannuation in a post-Fund Choice environment.
Chris has previous board experience in the superannuation and investment sector, as a Director for Jaipur Asset Management and as a Trustee Director for the Lendlease Corporate Super Fund, and in the not-for-profit sector, as a non-executive independent director for the National Centre for Childhood Grief.
