Senior Account Manager / Account Director - Corporate PR

About you:

  • You are highly skilled at utilising communication tools to problem solve;

  • You feel as comfortable providing C-suite advice as you are creating campaign content;

  • No task is too small nor too senior – you enjoy pitching in to get the best result no matter what it takes;

  • You have excellent written and verbal skills and a keen eye for detail;

  • Working within a small team, you are both a team player and able to work autonomously;

  • You can set and meet consistent deadlines for you and your team;

  • You are comfortable managing client accounts with little oversight or direction;

  • You are experienced in managing staff;

  • You are experienced at managing budgets; and

  • You have five-to-nine years’ of relevant experience.

While not essential, you also possess:

  • A track record of winning business;

  • Experience working in a communications consultancy;

  • A degree in public relations, communications, public affairs, or a similar field; and

  • Proficiency in the Adobe creative suite or similar graphic design and video editing software.

As a Senior Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing client projects and budgets; 

  • Developing and directing communications strategies across owned, earned, paid and shared channels;

  • Managing and mentoring teams of junior consultants including time management, productivity, and morale;

  • Liaising with clients at senior levels with confidence;

  • Growing and owning relationships with clients;

  • Staying across industry developments and implementing those in your day-to-day work; and

  • Pitching and winning new business.
